Ashley joined TakeAction in 2017. She is originally from Duluth and has deep roots in the community. In 2016, she joined the Feminist Action Collective and is now a part of the leadership team where she is heavily invested in fighting for gender equity and social justice. A single parent working full time, Ashley has direct experience with the struggles of finding employment opportunities that pay a living wage and navigating the hoops of government assistance programs. Her lived experience informs her approach to community organizing.

As the Duluth Organizer, Ashley is building up and with communities all across Duluth to pass policy that will improve the lives of all and expanding movement politics to the north-eastern region of Minnesota.
