SUMMIT FOR A FAIR ECONOMY

On September 10, TakeAction joined partners in Minnesotans for a Fair Economy & 500 Minnesotans to start building a new economy.  

The day included keynotes from former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, Director of the Kirwan Institue john a. powell, and SEIU International’s Stephen Lerner. Workshops focused on creating a common vision of a fair economy and making plans for grassroots campaigns to confront unemployment, fair lending, raising revenue fairly and strengthening social insurance programs.
