Marcie Moravec joined TakeAction Minnesota in 2017. Originally from Oregon, she has broad experience in operations at private, public and nonprofit organizations. While earning an MBA at Portland State University, Marcie realized her passion for managing the administrative efforts of mission driven organizations. She previously served as the Program and Operations Manager for Rail~Volution where she produced an annual, national conference that advocates for building livable communities with transit and land use.

As Director of Finance and Operations at TakeAction Minnesota, Marcie is responsible for directing finance, human resources, organizational planning, and facilities management to ensure the organization is run and structured in a way that allows for continued success, growth, and most importantly positive change affecting Minnesotans.
