TakeAction in Winona Squad Meeting

In our first meeting, we began the journey of building relationships and a vision for change for a future where all of us are able to thrive and none of us will be left out. In our wrap-up meeting before we go our separate ways for the summer, we will tell the truths about how we’ve gotten to this point and we will figure out together what we would like to work on when we return in the fall, as well as discussing how we can utilize our summer to gain power collectively and establish some roles for future meetings.
Winona TakeAction MN Squad First Meeting

Saint Mary’s and Winona State students and faculty members will come together for the very first meeting of the TakeAction Winona Squad. Join us at Saint Mary’s University for an introduction to TakeAction and the brand new squad program, as well as training on building power through relationships, effective organizing, and a long-term vision for systemic change.
